Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea have recently launched their new website, bringing the number of countries on our unique multi-lingual framework to 16.
Marie Stopes International (MSI) provide safe contraception and family planning services to millions of women in 37 countries around the world. Since 2016 we’ve been supporting their national teams with a new, multi-lingual, multi-website solution, allowing their operations around the world to engage clients in each country they operate in, from a globally brand consistent platform.
Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea is the latest team to join, allowing their national operations to manage their own client facing websites, fully customisable to their local needs and benefiting from a raft of bespoke features and functionality.
By joining the country sites solution, Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea had access to a growing library of bespoke modifications that have been rolled out to the platform as more and more teams joined the programme. From customised, interactive Google Maps to secure CMS-editable forms suited to each country’s needs, Marie Stopes Papua New Guinea is able to offer their users a high-end experience, and can enhance their site further in future with features such as live chat support made to match the MSI brand, all at a radical cost saving thanks to the programme designed in partnership between Screenmedia and MSI.
A key challenge when we first set up the country sites was to create a modern website with a rich design and experience that also considered users with limited access to the internet. To tackle this, all features and functionality were tested extensively on limited data connections, with media scaling appropriate to the connection used, to ensure all users could securely access the information on the site no matter the speed of their connection.
Supporting MSI with such an ambitious project has been a great opportunity, and we’re delighted by its continued success; we look forward to more country teams joining the country sites programme and helping them engage with their users with their life-saving work. We’re always looking for ways to improve the reach of our client’s sites and support them in reaching their key objectives. If you’re looking for a digital partner in this, get in touch and we’d love to talk.
