Microsoft hosted their annual Burns Supper at Edinburgh’s National Museum last week. We went along to help raise money for some great charities.
As long term developers and partners of Microsoft, Screenmedia was invited along to take part in meeting the charities involved, raise some money, and enjoy some delicious gourmet haggis, neeps, and tatties.
At the event we heard from the founders of Aberlour Scotland Children’s Charity and their work with families affected by disability, drugs and alcohol, behaviour problems and emotional difficulties; as well as Street Soccer, and Social Bite and their work in fighting homelessness.
Alongside the presentations we were treated to a performance by Gaelic singers, followed by a raffle and silent auction which our team eagerly participated in (and ended up winning a few prizes!).
We’re delighted that our enduring partnership with Microsoft has given us the chance to meet and hear from such inspiring people, and we thank them for a wonderful evening.
We are always on the lookout for skilled, enthusiastic talent to join our Microsoft Certified practice. If we sound like the place for you, check out our vacancies to see where you could fit in!
