Are you a skilled Frontend TypeScript Developer with a passion for crafting high-performance web applications using frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular? Are you adept at building responsive and dynamic user interfaces, with a profound grasp of modern frontend design patterns? Do you have a solid foundation in frontend DevOps and component-based architecture, and have experience setting up build and deployment pipelines?

The role

As a Frontend TypeScript Developer, you will work on a variety of projects across different workstreams, ensuring that our clients' digital solutions meet their requirements. Our developers have the opportunity to develop systems to meet a variety of needs, with 20% of your time available for professional development and R&D. You will also have access to a monthly spending allowance within Azure to experiment with different resources.

You will be working with multiple teams in both agile and waterfall environments and will be responsible for leading and supporting of projects from inception to delivery, working with a team of high calibre technical individuals predominantly on the Microsoft development stack.

What you'll do

  • Architect and lead the development of frontend applications
  • Collaborate closely with both internal project stakeholders, as well as directly with clients, to gather and shape project requirements
  • Formulate and document delivery approaches and guide sprint teams in feature delivery of frontend framework applications
  • Ensure the quality of team delivery, working as a mentor to team mates and collaborating with other leads to shape the direction of our technology choices
  • Working with clients and other technical leads to define and specify APIs required for delivery of application
  • Creating and managing CI/CD processes for frontend applications and automating processes wherever possible
  • Providing technical consultation and support to clients

Your skills and experience

  • Extensive experience with TypeScript and proficiency in at least one of the following frontend frameworks: Vue 2/3, React, Angular 4+
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git (Azure DevOps)
  • Strong experience with DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell and familiarity with Microsoft .NET development environment
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-project, multi-client software solutions environment
  • Experience of Umbraco CMS – whilst not essential, this is highly desirable
  • Experience of .NET and Azure a big plus

  • Interview – discussing your code, your experience and an in-depth discussion on the role and what you can achieve in it

£65,000 - £75,000 (based on experience)
