Screenmedia is a multi-award-winning innovation, design and development practice. We believe every piece of technology should be clever, creative and human centred. We're expert at helping enterprise organisations solve problems and implement purpose-built technology that drives efficiency, improves service delivery and excites end users. We follow best practice standards of user experience design to help our clients plan, design and deliver robust technology architectures across web, mobile, voice, API and cloud technologies.
We also work with Filament PD, an award-winning Glasgow-based product design agency with experience across the strategy, design, and development of both physical and digital solutions. Their team of product designers, engineers and strategists specialise in the development of user centric IoT and connected hardware devices. Our combined 65 strong team is expert in developing innovative, impactful, and scalable solutions. We have worked together before to deliver disruptive solutions for enterprise clients across industries.
Every year we reinvest 20% of our profits back into research and development. Our aim is to play with new technologies, prove their impact, sustainability, and return on investment, and continue to iterate and improve them over time. We seek to become experts in emerging technologies like voice interaction, artificial/augmented intelligence, IoT and extended realities ahead of our clients’ needs. As a result, we have become a partner of choice for many of our clients when it comes to using new technologies to improve ways of working, connecting with customers, and reaching new audiences. To support our expanding research and development programme, we are seeking a new team member to support in discovering, assessing, and reporting on new technologies, products, and services.
The successful applicant will be someone who is excited by how new technologies can improve how people live, work, play, and connect with one another. They should be curious at heart and have a drive not just to learn, but share what they have learned with others to inform a wider team. They should be able to see the opportunities of new products, platforms, and means of interaction, looking beyond products in their present form to analyse and report on what they mean for the direction of technology and how we interact with digital products and systems.
This role will give the successful applicant a unique experience not just in digital but also experience with physical product design across two of Glasgow’s foremost design and technology agencies. The role is ideal for a graduate in product design, user experience, or communication design excited by the possibilities offered by emerging technologies such as smart assistants, voice interaction, AI, and augmented reality.
