Overview
Simple Audio is well on its way to international success with
its new HD digital sound system. Since 2008, the team have worked
with world-class engineers to develop a 24-bit sound system using
Powerline Communications technology. Only their online and offline
marketing communications resources were missing, but not
anymore.
Simple Audio's sound system is the first affordable player to
make HD digital music accessible to everyone. It gets music off the
computer, iPhone, iPad or iPod and when connected to speakers, the
system will play back music in high definition up to the latest
24-bit resolution.
This is hi-tech equipment and developing the product has been
the main focus of the company. So, Simple Audio needed a full
service digital agency to help them develop their online and
offline product and marketing collateral to help get their product
to market.
We were all starting from a blank sheet of paper when developing
the new brand and product range. We knew that 'simplicity' was at
the heart of the company and we wanted to highlight this across all
their customer touchpoints.
We started out developing the user experience (UX) and the
graphical user interface (GUI) for their desktop and mobile product
controllers. This software is a key part of the Simple Audio
system, enabling users to set up and manage Roomplayers and music
libraries from their computer, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. It was
essential that this software was intuitive and enjoyable for novice
and experienced users alike.
We also worked on a customer facing website, which you can view
at www.simpleaudio.com.
This site features rich graphics and detailed product information.
We provided planning, design and build services as well as
copywriting and illustration. The site is supported by a content
management system too, built using Umbraco.
This project drew upon the expertise of specialists across our
entire studio, and has been one of our most challenging and
rewarding projects to date. We're really pleased with the outcome
and are continuing to work with the Simple Audio team who are
expected to release their first products in autumn 2011.
