Overview
Alongside the development of the new Titan
Clydebank website, we also produced this new corporate site for
Clydebank Re-built. A very different remit with very different
results.
Clydebank Rebuilt's purpose is simple; to help regenerate
Clydebank. Their work, as facilitators and developers, is fresh,
innovative and successful. Screenmedia were appointed as the
preferred supplier to redesign and redevelop their corporate
website. The site needed to engage with a number of stakeholders,
from potential investors to local residents and businesses, yet at
the same time promote and publicise the current regenerative and
investment activity ongoing within the area.
Our approach to the brief was to design and build a clean,
contemporary site incorporating core elements of interaction design
through DHTML content functionality and particular emphasis on
image galleries and visual cues. Implementing a content
management system enabled full (and easy) site update to all
published content - including the Google map and galleries for each
project.
Using a homepage search function, flash interactive banner and
relevant calls to action, the site signposts visitors effectively
ensuring they are only a few clicks away from the content they
need. Screenmedia are also working with Clydebank Rebuilt to
integrate more web 2.0 features such as Ajax and DHTML to improve
the user interaction experience, as well as elements of community
& social media to develop better dialogue users.
