    Interactive Art Award

    Working with our partners and long-time collaborators ISO Design, we built The Gallery of Lost Art for Tate Modern. A technically challenging but highly rewarding piece of work, we were over the moon to see it win the 'Interactive Art Award' at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas; the world's largest interactive media festival.

    Receiving this award for a third year in a row was truly overwhelming. Everyone in our team; whether that be our designers, developers, or digital planners; work incredibly hard to provide the quality of solution for which we are known. To have that hard work recognised within the wider industry for a third year running was such a fantastic accolade. We were absolutely thrilled.

    Best Consumer Engagement

    Screenmedia are not just about design and build: when we started working with Simple Audio in 2011, we helped develop their business with our strategy, planning, designing, building, copywriting and illustration services; not only for their customer facing website, but their iPhone software, user manuals and marketing brochureware. We were thrilled to win this award off the back of our hard work with this wonderful client.

    This was only our second year attending the Herald Digital Business Awards, so imagine our excitement when our name was called, for the second year in a row, to receive the award for Best Digital Supplier. The award was won for doing the most to advance digital innovation in Scotland, all while showing clear business results, over the period of the past 12 months.

    We were recognised for bringing innovation to the mobile space with SprintGPS, our mobile app for iPhone that used GPS capabilities to track outdoor activities such as running, cycling and walking. Since its launch SprintGPS has reached the "Top 5" apps in key territories around the world and consistently receives 4 and 5 star ratings.

    Best Integration

    We were absolutely thrilled to win the Best Integration Award for our work on integrating Umbraco with a social networking platform for This Is Central Station; a 60,000 strong online community for designers, artists and film makers.

    The beginning of a Screenmedia award hat trick, this was a big one for us. We were thrilled not only because of all the hard work we put into growing our mobile division throughout 2010, but also for our sustained effort in delivering high quality design and technology solutions across our specialist sectors: culture, heritage, media, entertainment, business, and learning.

    Our Best Use of Mobile Technology award was won for own mobile app, SprintGPS Launched in May 2010 and available worldwide through the App Store, it has been downloaded over 250,000 times and frequently attracts positive user feedback.

    Bronze Winner - Excellence in the Production of Learning Content

    We picked up an award for our development of the The Big Plus adult literacy and numeracy campaign for the Work Skills Academy at the prestigious e-Learning Awards in London, the judges being impressed with the high quality of our design and level of interactivity.

    Best Performing Small Business

    Even after three years in business, our potential was evident. It was great to receive such early recognition - and a real confidence booster - from our local business community, and even more surprising to see Jon scrub up this well in a suit!

    Best Interactive Media

    Web based games are difficult; very few clients have the ambition, or the budgets, to create sophisticated games. Sust at the Lighthouse were different and encouraged us to really break the mould. Thankfully, all the extra effort and long hours paid off, and we were rewarded with a Bafta.
