Screenmedia launches a mobile app solution for the Scottish Ambulance Service Posted by: Sara on 24/11/2015
At Screenmedia, digital health is a big passion of ours. So when Scottish Ambulance service enlisted us to plan, design and develop an application for ambulance staff we jumped at the chance.
Scotland’s ambulances operate nationally and paramedics can often find themselves far from home. This mobile app will be vital in keeping our paramedics up to date with regional healthcare information, hospital specialisms, new clinical guidelines, and patient pathways.
Our team are privileged to have been involved in the development of this new Windows tablet solution for frontline paramedics to help them deliver an even higher standard of patient care. The new service app is currently being trialled across various divisions including the air ambulance team, and will be an invaluable reference tool for frontline paramedics for information on clinical treatment, operational information, and divisional patient pathways.
At Screenmedia we have always believed in the power of technology when it comes to health and wellbeing and we view the shift in priorities towards digital health as an opportunity to design truly disruptive, human-centred solutions. We’ve had the pleasure of working with various divisions of the National Health Service over the past eleven years, producing everything from bespoke learning modules for blood scientists to mobile assessment tools for the detection and treatment of sepsis and are thrilled to have partnered with such a vital division of our National Health Service to develop this recent mobile app.
We are always looking for transformative projects to work on. Get in touch to find out how digital we can help realise your next digital project.
