At last, we're in our new studio in Glasgow's Merchant City. Our
new address (please note) is now Screenmedia, 4th Floor, 60 Osborne
Street, Glasgow, G1 5HQ. Our telephone number is 0141 552 3112.
We say at last because, the past few weeks at Screenmedia have
been packed full of bubble wrap, furniture, boxes and vans plus
endless trips up and down the 4 flights of stairs - we're all
pooped.
But we're glad to say that we all survived the move and are now
really settled in our new home.
On the outskirts of Merchant City, our new neighbourhood appears
to be way more interesting culturally than Charing Cross. We're in
the artistic hub around the Briggait, Glasgow Print Studio and the
Modern Institute. Our new studio is also open plan, more spacious
than Newton Place and, we hope, it'll be a fantastically creative
and inspirational space in which to do our best work.
Everyone is making a point to get to know the new area,
discovering many great lunch spots such as the 13th Note and Mono to name but two on our
doorstep.
All in all we are fairly settled into our new home, and
with the fresh snow covering the surrounding rooftops we are very
grateful to have such a cosy office to call our own.
