Introduction

Screenmedia is a digital communications studio producing multi-platform solutions for web, kiosk, cd-rom, dvd and mobile.

We specialise in the creation of rich media because we appreciate that sticky content (such as audio, video, animation and games) engages audiences and promotes interaction.

We also specialise in the development of rich internet applications because we believe Web 2.0 is no fashion and actually represents a huge shift in the nature of online communications. On one hand, new models for online participation (wiki, blog, social and business networking) offer popular new forms of interaction and participation. On the other, a new wave of Web 2.0 tools and applications are fundamentally changing the design and development infrastructure upon which online applications are built.

What does this look like? From our own portfolio, we have learned much from our new project for Tern TV and Channel 4. Slabovia.tv broadcasts audio and video content to a growing community of new Slabovian comrades as they participate and feed content back via youtube, bebo, myspace and flickr.

Coming soon, we will be launching a new site which pioneers the feeding of audio & video content from mobile to client web and client social networking sites. Plus, a new application based on mobile to machine (M2M) mapping. Exciting times!
